Over the many years that Veterinary Care Specialist and VCS Pets First have been part of our community, we have developed a team of highly trained doctors, veterinary technicians (or nurses), assistants, and reception staff that are devoted to providing the best care for your pet and your family. Some of our doctors have received advanced training beyond their veterinary degreee, becoming boarded specialists within a selected feild of medicine and/or surgery or performing internship training prior to joining our practice. All our doctors continue to advance their skills through in-hospital and online education and training programs as well as traveling to large continuing education programs.
Our technicians and assistants are selected because of their compassion and dedication to patient care. Their compassion as well as their technical skills are what makes each one of them key members of the VCS team. Our technicians and assiatnts also receive extensive continuing education both in-hospital and programs outside the hospital.
