Pet Diagnostics
It’s difficult to see your pet in pain or suffering and not know why. Our team uses cutting-edge in-house diagnostics to diagnose what’s wrong and provide an accurate diagnosis. A faster diagnosis means faster treatment!
A fully digital radiology unit is available at our hospital (digital x-ray machine). We can obtain detailed images quickly and use online radiology to review x-rays when necessary. In the hospital, we can perform ultrasounds. An ultrasound is not painful, and no sedation is usually required. We can perform ultrasounds of the heart or abdomen, revealing incredible detail of organs such as the liver, kidneys, adrenal glands, and bladder.
Pet Ultrasound
Ultrasonography is a diagnostic procedure that uses ultrasonic waves to create an imaging study. This means that we can see internal images of the patient’s body during ultrasonography. Unlike other imaging techniques, such as x-rays, ultrasonography does not use radiation. Ultrasonography, on the other hand, uses high-frequency sound waves to create a picture of what’s happening inside your pet’s body. Ultrasonography is a non-invasive, painless method of diagnosing and evaluating various disorders.
In-House Labs
Our in-house lab provides important fecal exams, heartworm tests, and more. Stool samples help us diagnose any internal parasites your pet may be suffering from.
Such parasites can sap your pet’s energy and strength and could cause death in extreme cases or young animals. We treat and prevent these parasites with prophylactic medications. We run CBC/Chemistry/Urinalysis.
